For our client, the market leader in hair and beauty accessories in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe, we are currently seeking a:

Human Resources Specialist m/f/d)

Location: Glen Echo, MD


Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year


Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in Human Resources or a commercial education with additional training as a Human Resources Specialist (m/f/d)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the HR field
  • Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of legal regulations
  • Experience in payroll and salary administration
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Structured, proactive work style and team player
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
  • Excellent German and English skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for managers and employees (bluecollar and whitecollar) for all HRrelated inquiries
  • Implementation of operational HR tasks, such as recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding, payroll administration
  • Active involvement in the development and implementation of the HR department's strategic direction (e.g. expanding employer branding)
  • Administrative tasks (e.g. creating references, updating employment contracts, job descriptions)
  • Preparation of reports/statistics for management
