Location:
Chesapeake, VA. Indian Creek Correctional Center is a level 2 medium security prison.
This facility provides specialized treatment services to individuals with substance use disorder.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 1-hour meal break. As an exempt position the candidate may be required to work greater than 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate:
$90,000 annually.

The
Director of Clinical Services
is responsible for:
Maintaining ongoing interaction with VA DOC officials ensuring that customer service is a priority and that services are provided according to specification of the VA DOC and the contract.
Ensuring all clinical personnel receive a minimum of 1 hour of individual and 4 hours of documented group supervision per month.
Ensuring Clinical Supervisors conduct random observations of each counselor on a minimum of a weekly basis and these observations are recorded on Group Quality Inventory and Clinical Supervision Forms.
Conducting clinical record reviews and reviews reports from others' record reviews ensuring all documents are completed within established timeframes and demonstrating appropriate clinical quality.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in the behavioral science, licensure (LPC, LMFC, LCSW) and/or substance abuse treatment certification (CSAC/CADC) is required.
Experience supervising clinical personnel is required.
Certified to provide CSAC and/or CADC supervision is highly preferable.
Experience working in Therapeutic Community model programs is highly preferable.
Experience working within a correctional or secure environment is a plus.
Must have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
