    The Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for driving strategic decision-making and optimizing sales performance. Responsibilities include delivering accurate forecast and sales data, managing inventory levels, taking ownership of specific brands, and supporting the Business Intelligence and Planning Team. They also maintain and develop reports to provide valuable insights into sales, analyze Point of Sale Data, and collaborate with internal teams.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Maintain and develop reports that identify various analytical perspectives of sales, mainly focused on supporting the Target Account.
    • Collect, consolidate, format and analyze Point of Sale Data across multiple retailers to ensure alignment and collaboration.
    • Weekly interaction and communication with internal and external teams.
    • Contribute to the allocation and replenishment process with analytical thinking and problem solving, protecting sales and inventory levels.
    • Maintain all files, reports and related activities in a professional, timely and organized manner.
    • Work closely with Sales to identify risks and sales opportunities, providing valuable and actionable insights.
    • Deliver business analysis to influence assortment strategies and recommend future purchases.
    • Assist the Sales Managers to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals through effective order management and forecasting.
    • Support the Sales Managersby preparing forecasting and internal sales plan documents.
    • Utilize existing or new company tools to provide insights quickly and effectively
    • Knowledge of unfamiliar vendor portals or applications to pull data needed for analysis is a PLUS, not required.
    What we look for:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field highly preferred
    • 2+ years merchandising, planning, buying or equivalent experience preferred
    • Experience working with/for Target and/or other retailers is preferred
    • Must have excellent computer skills with an advanced understanding of excel
    • Familiarity with planning systems, such as Oracle or SAP, is preferred
    • Proficiency in visual analytics platforms, like Tableau, is preferred
    • Team player that works in the best interests of all - within and across functions and levels. When something is broken, regardless of responsibility, leads the action needed to fix it. Must be able to function effectively and independently in a small office environment
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and multi-tasking skills
    • Aptitude as a quick learner, retaining training quickly and seeking solutions independently before seeking assistance
    • Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership and an ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
    • Must perform well in high pressure situations, balance competing priorities, and demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision
    Preferred Qualifications
