    Description


    Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next generation cloud platform that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, operating at global scale to provide a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.


    This is your opportunity to be a core part of the team that defines and delivers exciting new capabilities on OCI in the technical operations space.

    We are seeking a candidate with strong engineering management experience in not only platform level products or services, but in monitoring and operating these services at scale.


    We are looking for a seasoned engineering leader to grow and lead teams that are building and scaling multiple cloud services which help ensure OCI provides our customers the best services possible.

    You will be providing leadership, vision and strategy needed for the delivery of health monitoring and event detection.

    We are looking for someone who has experience:

    Leading engineering teams that have delivered successful products and services.
    Launching new cloud services and establishing operational excellence.
    Setting the technical direction.
    Building high performing geographically distributed engineering teams.
    Coaching, mentoring and developing best talent.
    Establishing and stimulating software development standards and processes along with best practices for the entire org
    Developing strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business objectives with leadership chain,team and customers

    (Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development)

    As a director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.

    Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.

    Basic Qualifications

    Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree and additional experience) in Computer Sciences
    10+ years of experience in software development.
    5+ years of experience in leading team in cloud/enterprise level initiatives.
    Experience in software design and coding in a modern programming language.
    Experience developing distributed systems and understanding of scale, reliability and performance.
