Zamberlan is looking for an experienced Sales Manager with expertise in Hunt/Outdoor/Work footwear sales channels.
Zamberlan is a premium Italian footwear brand which has been building boots in the Veneto province of Italy for almost 100 years.
Our product range extends across several channels – Outdoor, Hunting and Work.We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and tenacious individual with a track record of building profitable and enduring sales relationships in the Hunt/Outdoor/Work footwear space.
This role will manage our network of Independent Sales Reps in the delivery of our seasonal sales targets.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the recruiting, mentoring and performance management of independent Zamberlan Sales Reps in North America (USA & Canada)
Establish and update sales forecasts for each rep/region in North America. (Build bottom -up customer forecasts)
Work with reps to build regional sales development strategies and specific account objectives which link to financial targets
Manage specialty accounts in each region
Manage credit risk of our specialty accounts
Conduct seasonal sales meeting presentations to the sales team and key accounts. Conduct customer clinics
Use NetSuite to drive regular reporting at a regional/rep level
Trade show brand support – regional and national shows
Provide regular progress updates on all sales initiatives to the GM of Zamberlan North America
Support the GM in the management of National Account retail partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Roughly ten years of experience in footwear, outdoor, or sporting goods industries with 5 plus years of general sales experience, leadership role being preferred
Strong sales management experience and situational awareness in each of the regions of North America – Southeast, Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountains, Quebec, and Western Canada
Experience selling a premium brand / product range
Bachelor's degree in business, with emphasis in Operations, Marketing, or Finance is preferred
Strong experience and capabilities with a NetSuite Oneworld ERP system
This is a remote position working with our North America team as well as our Head Office in Italy
The total compensation will ultimately be based on the experience you bring to the position. Zamberlan NA offers a full suite of benefits (health, life, 401K, etc.) to all employees
