As the organization continues to evolve, they are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer
(CTO) This individualwill be overseeing all infrastructure, production, quality assurance, and all internal computer systems
The organization is supporting over fifty high-traffic websites globally and managing over 30 million unique visitors per month.
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for leading the technological strategy and vision of the company and overseeing all infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity initiatives
The CTO will be working closely with cross-functional teams and will ensure that their technology aligns with the company's business objectives and delivers a seamless and engaging experience for their users

Chief Technology OfficerLocation:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Salary:
Base salary - $225,000 - $275,000 + yearly Bonus.
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our digital platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our business and recommending adoption strategies.
Manage vendor relationships and partnerships to leverage external expertise and resources effectively.
Champion best practices in software engineering, cybersecurity, and IT Infrastructure to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of their platforms.
QualificationsBS and/or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in a senior leadership roleleading the IT department of a medium-sized publishing, Media, or Education organizations (preferred)Experience in handling Cybersecurity in a medium-sized organization.

Extensive experience working with high traffic and high uptime website environment.
Demonstrated record of accomplishment of successfully leading technology initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering high-impact results.
Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, cloud infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity.
