    Description

    Responsibilities:
    The Process Control Engineer will provide control system expertise (DCS, PLC, SIS) to operating facilities.

    Develop and maintain a process control program for Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.

    Manage process issue resolution and problem-solving activities.

    Ensure compliance with industry, regulatory, and company standards.

    Identify cost reduction and defect elimination opportunities. Support procurement and management of spare parts.

    Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and practices.

    Provide technical advice for operation and maintenance teams. Develop plant changes for safety, reliability, and cost reduction. Troubleshoot failures using root cause analysis.

    Ensure hazard identification and risk management processes are in place.

    Relocation provided. $140K-$170K.

    Requirements


    The Process Control Engineer will have a BS Chemical Engineering (or related) degree and 8+ years experience as a Process Control Systems Engineer in chemical, refinery, or related process manufacturing plants.

    Proficient in Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems, interfaces, protocols, measuring methods, field instruments, and actuated valves.

    Preferred experience in Yokogawa or Emerson's Delta V DCS systems, and PLC systems including Honeywell and Rockwell.

    Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
