Mathis Morales

Hello,

I am Mathis Morales, a French engineer from Polytech Clermont INP. I will be officially graduated in December from my Electrical Engineering degree at Polytech Clermont, as well as from my master's double degree in Robotics and Artificial Perception at the University Clermont Auvergne (UCA). 

Currently, I am looking for temporary work or internships in Oklahoma, USA, in the fields of robotics, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.

Recently, I completed a 5-months internship in the COSMER lab of Toulon, on the interactions between deep-divers and drones. The purpose of my internship was a cross-learning method for a neural network detecting gestures underwater, after being trained by data taken outside of water. I achieved good results (>90% of precision) and also did a statistical analysis of the data, from which I was able to draw conclusions on the biomechanical variations of the gestures between the two environments.

My robotics cursus included classes of ROS, coding, machine learning (by neural networks), math for robotics (optimization, command and signal), and artificial perception.
My main cursus included classes of Electricity, Electronics and Power Electronics, Signal Processing and Signal Theory, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Robotics (ROS), Automation, Data Transmission and Storage, Study of Numerical Systems, and Informatics.
I also took courses of Management, Human Rights, and Social Psychology.

Master's degree internship of 5 months on Artificial Intelligence (AI) research in the COSMER lab of Toulon, France. 

Completed the following tasks: 
- Data labelling
- Statistical analysis
- Coding in Python
- Code documentation
- Deep Learning algorithms to detect key features in the dataset
- Deep Learning algorithm capable of modifying data from one dataset to look like data from another

Internship in the MSD lab of Florence, Italy:

4-months internship during which I worked on an FPGA, to implement a beamforming signal processing technique. The FPGA was integrated in a digital ultrasound probe for medical research.

Working as Communications manager in IDP ingénierie, the junior enterprise of Polytech Clermont:
Responsible for keeping the students updated with the work, meeting, and progress of the company, as well as advertising our events.
