    The University of Miami:


    Looking to join a dynamic team in the healthcare field? The Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Research Support Coordinator position based at the UHealth Campus.

    The Research Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting projects related to Lung Cancer Screening in Hispanic cancer survivors, handling various financial and operational tasks.

    In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and project members, overseeing a range of project support activities.


    • Pre-screening patients, coordinating with physicians, obtaining consent, and conducting surveys.
    • Ensuring safe blood collection and transportation to biospecimen resources.
    • Collaborating with different project stakeholders and maintaining project data.
    • Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and liaising with various parties involved in the projects.
    • Monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and collaborating on solutions.
    • Developing mechanisms for tracking progress and managing project timelines.
    • Coordinating grant proposals and study reporting.


    If you're a proactive individual with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
    • Detail-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision
