    Production Support EngineerResponsibilities:
    • Provide support to internal and external business stakeholders and end-users.
    • Troubleshoot and maintain server-side REST API applications leveraging languages and frameworks such as Java, Hibernate, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
    • Write high-quality, efficient code to implement solutions to software bugs.
    • Review logs, inspect databases, utilize browser developer tools, review recent releases and change logs, and debug java written code in a micro services architecture.
    • Implement software solutions to production bugs, and advise the QA team on test cases.
    • Perform impact analysis using PostgreSQL queries.
    • Invest time in documenting your learnings and issues resolved, as well as participate in knowledge sharing sessions, to pass along the knowledge acquired while mitigating issues – so that we can solve these faster and better if they recur.
    Qualifications:
    • Have 5+ years of work experience in Software Engineering.
    • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to understand the landscape of a large scale system.
    • Can troubleshoot problems in broad technical domains, such as distributed systems, third-party services and APIs, legacy software, databases.
    • Are proficient in Java, Spring Framework, REST API development, microservices architecture, relational databases and SQL.
    • Are familiar with git, software release cycle, scalability, performance, monitoring, logging, containerized applications, docker, kubernetes.
    • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain scenarios, root cause, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Compensation: $ $75.00 per hour
