    Key Responsibilities:

    Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Sr. Manager, Trade & Commercial Finance to support the Commercial Finance team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.

    The Commercial & Trade Finance Senior Manager will provide oversight to the Topline performance of the U.S. Commercial Business.This role will have particular focus Trade Spend Management, including month-end close activities around trade expense and accruals, Rate/Mix variance analysis as well as results consolidation and presentation.In addition, this role will support other Commercial Finance activities around period forecast, annual planning, performance reporting, and presentation development.This position works closely with Sales Finance, FP&A and Controller group.Reports to the Head of Commercial and Sales Finance. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and develop month-end trade spend process, providing direction and timelines to the sales finance teams.
    • Approves and submits journal entries, interacting with sales finance teams as necessary to ensure accurate customer-level trade expense and accrual position.
    • Completes and distributes period-end reporting on Actual customer-level trade and net price variances, utilizing Rate and Mix cause of change analysis, vs. Forecast and AOP. Communicates results to Head of Commercial and Sales Finance, FP&A and Controller.
    • Lead quarterly trade liability review process with sales finance and Controller group and provide summary of trade liability balances along with potential risk/opportunity profile.
    • Consolidate Volume, Trade/Net Revenue forecast across Traditional and On-The-Go (OTG) sales teams; assess and understand gaps to AOP.
    • Support Annual planning (AOP) processes and target setting in conjunction with Commercial Ops & Planning team.
    • Design and implement new processes and reporting/scorecards from new SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and new Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems.
    • Develop presentation materials for periodic (ERC) Employee Results Call and other meetings as required.
    • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
    • Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
    • Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
    • Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA and CPA a plus
    • 8+ years relevant experience and practical exposure, preferably in CPG industry, in following areas: Sales Finance, Trade Spend Management, Revenue Management or Financial Planning & Analysis
    • MBA and CPA a plus
    • Experience with Trade Spend, forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
    • Results-oriented self-starter with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
    • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
    • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications - SAP S4 Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Trade Promotion Management tools
    • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision
    • Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future
