The Job/What You'll Do:
AssetMark strives to deliver asset management excellence, and the Trade Operations team plays a key role in this delivery by ensuring that clients are accurately invested in a timely manner with quality trade execution to ensure the best client outcome

Responsibilities:

Efficient and timely execution of all platform activity in equities, fixed income and mutual funds
Develop and execute pre and post trade analytics
Conduct research and analysis on various securities to assess their liquidity, trading volumes, and execution risks.
Evaluate counterparty performance relative to firm benchmarks
Ownership and understanding of order routing and EMS activity
Posttrade and endofday trade reconciliation
Automate legacy operational processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
Build and maintain strong relationships with external counterparties
Act as a point of contact for tradingrelated inquiries and resolve any tradingrelated issues promptly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to think creatively and critically while implementing ideas in a fast-changing environment
Advanced knowledge of equity and fixed income market structure
Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate data quickly and effectively
Advanced skillset in data assembly and manipulation (Python, R, SQL)
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, business/finance, or related field
35 years' experience in equity or fixed income trading
