    Job Description

    Role Purpose


    The Research Coordinator will provide full administrative support to the SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences for the Entertainment Networks (NBC, Bravo, E, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, & USA) and serve as liaison with both internal constituents and external vendors.

    Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to generate and distribute reports and analyze viewership across age, gender, and other demographics, using both television ratings and digital data.


    Responsibilities:

    • Support administrative needs of SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences by professionally answering phones, preparing all correspondence, expenses and travel arrangements, and coordinating calendars, including meetings and appointments
    • Assist in ongoing operations of the office/team, including ensuring conference rooms are coordinated and equipped to handle virtual/in-person hybrid meetings
    • Coordinate IT and facilities services for department, and order team office supplies as needed
    • Ideate, plan and execute on department events/experiences to drive team culture
    • Track and file Research department invoices, and manage department project budget
    • Facilitate RFP (request for proposal) process with research vendors
    • Manage, execute, and proofread research reports and projects as assigned
    Qualifications


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Affinity for numbers / data
    • Attention to detail
    • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
    • Superior organizational skills and prioritization abilities
    • Excellent proofreading skills
    • Must be able to work at a fast pace while managing multiple tasks and maintaining a professional attitude
    • Proactive spirit in initiating ideas, processes, and/or experiences that will help the department run efficiently and promote team culture
    • Awareness and interest in current TV programming and the TV landscape, along with the various ways to watch TV content
    • Prior administrative assistant experience preferred

    Additional Requirements:

    Hybrid:

    This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary range:
    $50,000 - $60,000
