Position Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the development and maintenance of study documents. Manage the preparation of clinical protocols, amendments, informed consent forms, study guides, case report forms, and any other clinical research related documents.
  • Maintain all databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.
  • Administers electronic health information questionnaires to consented study participants, responsible for storage, back up and transfer of data from these questionnaires to a central database. Responsible for accuracy of data entry from paper forms and storage of these forms. Train and monitor study sites in correct collection, processing and shipping of bio specimens to central repository.
  • Manage the preparation of study progress reports and present information on a weekly basis to the PI and research staff.
  • Supervise the coordination of weekly staff schedules and supervise study research staff.
  • Supervises production of patient education material, research newsletters, development of web content and online project communication.
  • Manage the submission of necessary documents required by the NYU Institutional Board (IRB) Secures accurate signatures and forwards documents and/or forms to appropriate destination. Ensures the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA.
  • Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts. Assists with duties related to the production of academic journals.
  • Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff; accomplishes staff job results by coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manages PeopleSoft procurement for all study and office supplies.
  • Evening and weekend hours and some travel required.

Minimum Qualifications:


To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Science or health-related field plus at least 2 years experience in clinical research.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $62, $71,252.82 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
