    Job DescriptionSalary:

    Saint Cecelia Parish in Clearwater, Florida has an immediate opening for a highly organized detail-oriented person to hold the position of Event and Office Coordinator. This is a part-time, non-exempt position.

    The Event Office Coordinator must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced stewardship environment, communicating a positive, welcoming, hospitable, and pastoral approach. The person will be responsible for coordinating and controlling all the income, AR and AP invoicing, deposit banking systems, Human Resources/Employee's records, and Payroll systems. The ideal candidate should have experience with organizing large events for fundraising and promoting non-profit organizations. Attention to detail, time management, and deadline-oriented with the ability to switch gears when needed all are necessary traits to be successful in this role.

    A college degree and the ability to communicate in Spanish are preferable, but not required.

    Experience in a pastoral professional environment such as a school, church office, outreach ministry, or non-profit is essential. Some accounting and payroll software experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Publisher are required.

    Must be an active practice Catholic.

    Employees must successfully pass a Level II FBI Background Screening and complete Safe Environment training before Employment.
