    Description

    Direct Client is looking for a TWO Different Roles:

    1) Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with experience with UFT and Fidessa. A comprehensive automated trading solution for equities experience from Investment/Banking Domain expertise is a must.

    2) SDET engineers with investment and trading platform applications testing background is a must.

    TWO Different Roles:

    1) Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with experience with UFT and Fidessa

    2) SDET engineers with investment and trading platform applications testing background.

    Duration: long-term, extendable contract Job opportunity

    Location: New York City, NY (Onsite Hybrid Work role – 2 to 3 days Onsite in a week).

    Requirement 1:

    1) Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with experience with UFT and Fidessa

    UFT experience with windows-based applications.

    Automation Experience

    Experience with Fidessa Trading Platform is a Must

    Rich years of experience with investment and trading platform applications is a must.

    Requirement 2:

    2) SDET engineers with investment and trading platform applications testing background.

    Desired Experience/ Skills:

    • Strong experience (7+ years) automating manual test cases for C#/.NET/C++ applications.
    • Strong hands-on development experience with UFT (Unified Functional Test)/ Test Complete/ Ranorex/ or any other UI/ front end test automation tool required.
    • Strong experience in scripting language like Power shell, VB Script or Python.
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
    • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Hands on experience in working on tools like JIRA, HP ALM and QTest
    • Experience and in-depth understanding of the Software Testing principles.
    • Experience with FIX protocol and messaging platform like MQ/Kafka.
    • Good knowledge of SDLC & QA processes.
    • Strong Domain skills - Must have working experience in Capital Markets across modules and instruments especially Derivatives (Equity, Options, Futures, Swaps)
    • Experience in testing BFSI (Banking and Financial Industry) Domain applications with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
    • Hands-on expertise in manual functional testing.
