    Job Level: Associate Director

    Title: Human Capital Development

    Position Overview

    As the Associate Director of Human Capital Recruiting & Development, you will play a vital role in supporting our growing team. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions across the organization. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and fostering a positive work culture. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to expand their HR career with a growing company, has an affinity for the recruitment and onboarding of top talent, and would enjoy making this newly added position their own. Our emphasis on preserving our culture will be top of mind for this individual through the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing engagement of our team.

    Responsibilities

    Recruitment and Onboarding

    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including executing the onboarding process, conducting orientations, and facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork.

    Employee Relations

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
    • Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including conflicts and grievances, in a fair and timely manner.

    HR Administration

    • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and HR databases.
    • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Develop close working relationship with PEO/payroll provider to capitalize on the relationship.

    Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations .

    Performance Management

    • Support the performance management process by tracking performance evaluations, providing reminders to managers, and assisting in documentation.

    HR Projects

    • Participate in HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys and training initiatives.
    • Keep the employee intranet updated with all appropriate state postings and updated policies & procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2-5 years of experience in HR or related role preferred.
    • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws in multiple states.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and LinkedIn.

    Location / Schedule

    • This position will work in our Tampa, FL home office.
    • Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm with the option to work from home on Fridays.
    • Occasional evening/weekend hours may be requested.
    • This role may travel up to 50% of the time.

    Job Type / Compensation

    • Full-time, Exempt
    • Competitive salary between $85,000-$125,0000 based on experience and qualifications.
