    The Project Specialist will contribute to the success of Digital through the management of one or more, enterprise-wide projects and project resources. This role will ensure the success of initiatives and roadmap planning for the Employee Tools & Experience team, which is the product owner of Microsoft 365 at MGB. This role is responsible for working cross-functionally across Digital; gathering project requirements and reaching agreement around timelines. This role will organize work in a consistent way, with ongoing improvements to team project management processes.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

    Provide support for organization of Employee Tools & Experience team's project portfolio, which includes Microsoft 365 apps and services (formerly Microsoft Office) as well as other platforms.

    · Develop project goals, objectives, approach, and scope through negotiation and diplomacy that result in a well-defined, well-sponsored project.

    · Develop workplans and timelines to meet project goals.

    · Maintain accurate project documentation in Adobe Workfront application, meeting Digital Project Management Office guidelines.

    · Manage projects within the context of the larger environment including competing priorities, staffing levels, and budgetary concerns.

    · Provide appropriate and timely problem escalation (including potential solutions where applicable) to Information Systems management, project steering committees, and executive management.

    · Provide on-going project status reports to Digital leadership, user groups, project steering committee and executive hospital leadership.

    · Contribute to the development of Digital strategies and solutions that align with Digital standards and strategic directions.

    · Plan, manage, and oversee projects, using recognized project management methods including:

    o Definition of project scope and objectives

    o Management and status reporting tools

    o Feasibility and cost-benefit studies o Definition of requirements (functional and/or technical)

    o System testing/quality assurance

    o Training

    o Implementation

    o Post-implementation/on-going support

    o Project administrative activities

    o Documentation

    Provide project management support to team-based workgroups aligned by Microsoft 365 products.

    · Contribute to the development of capital and operating funding requirements associated with a project. Manage a project within its budget.

    · Work independently but recognize when the involvement of senior management is required.

    · Establish and create a positive project environment through leadership and mentoring.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications;

    · Bachelor's degree required.

    · 8 or more years of relevant experience.

    · A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
