The Role
The Primary Care Quality Project Specialist provides support on a variety of different quality and safety initiatives aimed at improving the overall care, experience, and outcomes that a patient receives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of ambulatory quality and safety efforts including primary care quality measurement focusing on chronic and preventive care, health equity in primary care and substance use disorder, behavioral health and ambulatory safety net strategies.
- Assist with key deliverables including but not limited to, projectspecific tasks, preparing meeting agendas and presentations, presentation delivery and facilitation, detailing key decisions and collaborating with the team.
- Support the broader Ambulatory Quality and Safety portfolio to advance key system strategies including efforts aligned with For Every Patient and United Against Racism.
- Use/s the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years of related experience required
- Experience related to internal quality and safety metrics measurement and monitoring preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience in a field related to Quality and Safety preferred
- Experience with Excel preferred
Skills/Abilities/Competencies
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with crossfunctional teams including staff at all levels of the organization
- Requires mínimal direction from leadership, demonstrated ability to work independently and possesses the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to optimally negotiate and collaborate with others of different abilities, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization
- Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal
