**Responsibilities:**
Manage a team of 20+ associates ensuring compliance with all companys policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Oversee value-add-services, picking and packing process, and outbound logistics
Planning ahead and ensuring the right resources are available as needed
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Assist with Labor Budget Preparation
Liaise with Customer Service, Transportation Vendors and Home Office Operations
Plan work schedule, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
Maintain focus on efficiency, charge-back reduction, and improved Service Levels to the top retailers in the US.
**Skills**
Proven work experience in a warehouse / distribution center environment
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
High School Diploma
Experience with WMS and ERP applications and proficient with Excel and other MS suite of tools.
