    Description:


    The County of Solano seeks a Human Resources Analyst (Principal)with a strong background in labor and employee relations,progressive discipline, classification, recruitment andselection, and supervision.

    Candidate must be comfortable withworking in a high-volume environment, and have the ability tothink critically and with agility in a variety of situations.

    Experience in coaching supervisors and managers throughprogressive discipline, and administering discipline, isessential.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment toproviding timely and effective service to all County departments,as well as share our department's commitment to equity."Everyone's voice is heard and valued.

    Qualifications:
    Any combination of education and experience that would likelyprovide the required knowledge, skills and abilities isqualifying.

    A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills andabilities would be:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree is required froman accredited college or university, with a major preferably inBusiness Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources,or a closely related field


    Experience:
    Four (4) years ofprofessional level experience in personnel work includingrecruitment, selection, classification, labor relations or riskmanagement. Three (3) years of the personnel experience must havebeen related to public agencies.


    Note:
    Additional experience maysubstitute on a year for year basis for the educationalrequirement.
