    LEAD GRANT BUDGET COORDINATOR

    Office of Workforce Development

    Entry Salary: $60,000 – $65,000

    Location: 1800 Century Place, Atlanta, Georgia 30345

    The position is open to all applicants meeting the minimum qualifications below.

    The Lead Grant Budget Coordinator is responsible for supporting grant and program budget management for associated Workforce Development fund sources, including federal and state projects.This position will work under the direction of the OWD's Grants and Finance Director.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position will play a critical role as Georgia's Grants Coordinator that is responsible for administering and monitoring federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds. Grant Coordinator assists in the reimbursement process for vendors, ensuring requests for funding are compliant with federal and state regulations, while also assisting in procurement and purchasing transactions.This position will work with Directors and Managers to support budget management and grant reporting processes.This role will assist with drafting grant budget documents, preparing financial reports, assist with budget projections and amendments, and analyze financial reports to determine fiscal integrity and compliance with principles, standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.

    Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    ·Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and supporting schedules for WIOA Title III, Workforce Information Grants, Jobs for Veterans State Grant and Foreign Labor Certification awards in accordance with departmental instructions.

    ·Assist program management with budgeting and annual projections.Provide technical assistance on financial matters.

    ·Develop budget revisions and supporting schedules and documents to the annual operating budget.

    ·Review collected financial data and create a variety of reports for internal and external parties.

    ·Perform account and budget reconciliation functions.

    ·Prepare financial reports and budget reviews.

    ·Collaborates with other TCSG partners relative to budget management and financial reporting.

    ·Assist in the conducting of annual grant closeouts.

    ·Keeps abreast of current federal regulations related to USDOL-ETA and federal financial regulations.

    ·Assist the Grants and Finance Director with the preparation of budget and other financial documents for grant applications and operations and grant status reports including audit reconciliations.

    ·Manages the preparation of invoices, financial reports and compliance reports as may be required.

    ·Cross-trains to learn other job duties and responsibilities.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    ·A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university *or* two (2) years of relevant work experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    ·Knowledge of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) and related Wagner-Peyser (WP) Act.

    ·Federal grant management and statewide Teamworks Financials experience

    ·Microsoft Excel proficient, including the use of pivot tables

    ·Knowledge of GAAP, OMB circulars and other federal grant regulations

    ·Knowledge of associated state and federal regulations.
