Our team is driven by the belief that positive change begins with collective effort, and we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Special Events Manager to join us in making a difference.


ANF's strategic vision includes funding ANI's high-quality healthcare and programming excellence in the field of neuroscience, with specialties in Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Parkinson's and Movement Disorders, and Alzheimer's.

The doctors and staff affiliated with ANI help patients receive life-changing neurological care through financial assistance, cutting edge medicine, and comprehensive treatment.


Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
■ Event Planning and Execution:


Plan, coordinate, and execute all special events, including but not limited to fundraisers, galas, community outreach programs, and awareness campaigns.

Manage all logístical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and audio-visual requirements. Oversee event timelines, ensuring that all elements are executed seamlessly.

■Fundraising Strategy:

Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies within the framework of special events. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners for event sponsorships and contributions.

■Community Engagement:

Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, local businesses, and volunteers to enhance event participation and support. Implement strategies to increase community awareness and engagement through special events.

■Marketing and Promotion:

Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for events.

■Budget Management:

Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to financial guidelines.

Track expenses and revenue related to events, providing regular updates to the leadership team.

■Post-Event Evaluation:

Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.

Generate reports on key performance indicators and make recommendations for future events.

■Portfolio Management


Work closely with our development team to utilize Salsa CRM, our fundraising growth platform, to maintain donor file accuracy, and utilize tools to effectively identify, cultivate, and steward donor relations.

■Post-Event Evaluation:

Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.

Generate reports on key performance indicators and make recommendations for future events.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a non-profit setting.

Ability to manage and guide volunteers while deepening relationships and creating trust

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Excellent collaborator across all levels, both internally and externally

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Proficient in social media, including LinkedIn, FB, Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok.

Ability to work a variety of hours, including days, nights, and some weekends.

Office and event management software.

Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist level.

Must have and maintain reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
