- The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process. HRTS will require new candidates to set up an account, which allows them to track their application's progress. Job Description and Duties
Under close supervision of a Strategic Offender Management System (SOMS) Correctional Case Records Supervisor, the Correctional Case Records Analyst (CCRA) is assigned to the SOMS Exception Processing Team (EPT).
The EPT will play a key role in the processing, maintenance, and control of the California Department of Corrections and rehabilitation (CDCR) Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) that is the central repository for offender records.
The team is responsible for ensuring documents and records are displayed in appropriate offender files and sections of files, including control of confidential documents to ensure integrity of the electronic records in accordance with state and federal laws and departmental policies.
The CCRA may also provide support to the development and implementation of ERMS and the Electronic Offender Management Information System (eOMIS).

Working Conditions
This position is located in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County.
This position exists in our Rancho Cordova offices on the highway 50 corridor, near the Folsom Auto Mall and the Folsom Premium Outlets.
We offer free parking, a park-like setting, and an easy commute from Eastern Sacramento County and El Dorado County locations.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by departmental annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
