    Are you a skilled and driven financial professional with a passion for the dynamic world of Software as a Service (SaaS)? We are seeking a talented Controller to join our prestigious SaaS client, a leading provider of cutting-edge technology solutions. As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to support our client's continued growth. Join our team and make an impact as you utilize your expertise as a controller in a SaaS environment.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Serve as the primary controller for our SaaS client, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
    2. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
    3. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
    5. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
    6. Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial plans and monitor performance against targets.
    7. Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems, implementing improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

    Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
    2. Proven experience as a Controller in a SaaS or technology-focused organization, with a deep understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles is preferred
    3. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
    4. Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
    5. Experience in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and ensuring compliance.
    6. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Work Environment:

    This client currently operates on a hybrid work model, most individuals work from home 2 to 3 days per week.
