University of Oklahoma's Medical Center
Shift Available:
Full-Time (36 hours/week); Each shift can look different as employees will help serve units in need

Procedural:
Endoscopy, Cath Lab, Interventional, Radiology, and Pre-Op. Level of expertise and skill sets will determine what units an RN will float to.

Under general supervision, provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.Provides a flexible workforce to supplement the inpatient and/or outpatient nursing units.
Assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Obtains a history and assessment and documents finding.
Examples include but are not limited to, the chief complaint, allergies, current medications, system functions, and the immunization status of patients.
Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients and intervenes when necessary.Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in the nursing notes.
Delivers patient care competently and delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate.
Interacts with family and patient in sharing the care plan as applicable.
Assists with coordinating hospital admissions to the unit as needed.
Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s)
Required:
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate Compact RN License (eNLC).
The Level 2 SEA Core RN will be in a part-time or full-time FTE position and commit to serving in either one (1) adult hospital (OUMC or OU Edmond) and two of the below skill sets OR two adult hospitals (OUMC and OU Edmond) and one skill set.
Critical Care - ICU, ED, PACUMedical – Medical/Surgical, Step Down
Procedural areas – Endo, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Some computer skills.
