- Lead development projects using Microsoft .NET, Kafka, micro services, SQL, UI with Microsoft web stack technologies
- Manage the successful delivery of projects by coordinating and lead activities across the agile delivery lifecycle across multiple teams
- Guide development team on complex technical problems including specifying proper software designs and use of existing facilities to solve common problems
- Provide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during code reviews
- Work with Product team to translate business requirements into technical design and develop software solutions
- Building strong partnership with technology, product & business leaders and peers
- Support production systems to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement of applications supported
- Advocate and implement best practices and improved team processes
- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment.
- Expert experience as .NET, micro services, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows, Unix and Cloud Technologies
- Expert understanding of Fund of Funds business domain
- Experience leading agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes
- Strong Hands-on large scale, multi-tenant application development experience.
- Self-motivated, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Effective communication skills to interact with business and senior management.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
- Aptitude for learning new and complex environments, processes, and technologies
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 12+ years of demonstrated ability of working in engineering teams/projects
- Minimum 10 years of hands on experience with application development.
- Strong in programing languages including C#.
- Demonstrated SQL development experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Micro services with Kubernetes and docker containers is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and related financial domain is a desirable.

Who we are looking for
State Street is looking to hire a hands-on Platform Development Lead for it's Alternatives Fund of Funds Platform with 12+ years of experience leading application development. The role will be responsible for ensuring the technical design and integration decisions for the platform. The candidate needs to have a good understanding of financial services domain.
The role expects an agile delivery mindset with ownership of quality, timely delivery and gathering of business requirements are a focus. In additional to the deliver, the lead will require to ensure that the team activity is coordinated between other technology teams and identify and manage dependencies.
The candidate must have a deep understanding about the Fund of Funds alternative investment space and experience working on a platform to support Fund of Funds business.

Salary Range:
$155,000 - $230,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
