Aon is looking for an Assistant Vice President - Broker


As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk in New York City.


Aon Transaction Solutions ("ATS") focuses on brokerage of transaction liability insurance products (e.g., Representations & Warranties, Tax, Litigation and other Contingent risks), largely in the context of M&A transactions.


We are looking for an Assistant Vice President - Broker to work alongside the senior members on the Reps & Warranties team in execution of R&W insurance placements for Aon's corporate and private equity clients and prospects.


Your impact as an Assistant Vice President - Broker:


Responsibilities:


  • Partner with & support senior brokers in all facets of deal execution from initial client intake through the transaction's signing/closing.
  • Support senior brokers in longterm projects passionate about key critical initiatives.
  • Prepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetings, as well as internal team meetings.
  • Develop relationships within the TS team and wider Aon, as well as developing trust and confidence with clients as well as carrier partners.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:


Required Experience:


  • Prior Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics Coursework or Internship Experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with mínimal direction.
  • Effective presentation, reporting and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to attain a Broker's License in first year of employment.

Education:


  • BS or equivalent experience required (degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred)

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 to $135,000 annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
