    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable/Payroll Specialist.

    As an Accounts Receivable/Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, ensuring timely collection of payments and assist with payroll preparation for processing.

    This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with our customers, including employees and ensuring the financial stability of our company.


    Accounting Duties:

    • Analyze customer accounts and perform necessary actions to resolve outstanding balances
    • Process and post invoices accurately and in a timely manner
    • Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers
    • Monitor accounts receivable aging report and follow up on overdue payments
    • Communicate with customers regarding payment discrepancies or issues
    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions with customers
    • Assist with monthend closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or paymentrelated inquiries
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online cloudbase) to input and retrieve financial data

    Payroll Duties:

    • Manage employee data for payroll processing
    • Monitor time tracking for all hourly employees
    • Communicate closely with employees and Logistics dept to accurately record time off requests

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
    • Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or similar role
    • QuickBooks Online cloudbased accounting software experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) or related software
    • Knowledge of accounting principles
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
    • Familiarity with ADP Run payroll a plus
