Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.

Your role will contribute to the financial stability of the company by maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.


Duties:


  • Process incoming payments from customers and clients
  • Verify and reconcile invoices with payments received
  • Prepare and send out invoices to customers
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system
  • Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable
  • Assist with monthend closing procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries or issues

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Previous experience in accounting or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Familiarity with telemarketing practices is beneficial
  • Understanding of governmental accounting regulations is a plus
  • Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance is advantageous
  • Proficient in 10key typing for data entry accuracy
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Experience using accounting software, such as Sage, is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes is a bonus

Note:
All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

$ $20.00 per hour
