Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports and documents. This is a vital role in ensuring accurate medical records and patient care.

Responsibilities:

Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and transcribe them into written reports
Review and edit transcribed reports for accuracy, grammar, and clarity
Ensure all medical reports are completed in a timely manner
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Use medical reference materials to ensure accurate transcription
Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous dictations
Follow established guidelines and procedures for transcription

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in using transcription software and equipment
Detailoriented with strong proofreading skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
