    Lux Research, a distinguished research and advisory leader in the realm of sustainable innovation, is on the hunt for a visionary and detail-oriented expert in agriculture technologies capable of impacting the Consumer Products (CPG) space to elevate our Lux Expertise team. We're inviting an experienced professional with science-based background in agronomics or the application of agriculture technologies to meet sustainability goals and with a passion for innovation strategy to embark on a thrilling career journey with us. Our Lux experts dive deep into the realms of technology, materials sciences, and consumer markets, crafting bespoke recommendations that perfectly align with our clients' unique ambitions, from innovation strategies to market entry plans and beyond.

    This role isn't just a job; it's a golden ticket to shape the future of consumer products from food and beverage, consumer health to retail and apparel. Here, you'll lead small yet potent engagement teams through the maze of client challenges at the innovation frontier.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Location & Collaboration: This is a full-time, remote position. You'll work closely with our Sales team, subject matter experts, client experience managers, and fellow consultants to secure new projects and drive success.
    • Expertise & Leadership: Flaunt your subject matter expertise through independent research, mentor junior team members, and lead by example in various innovation strategy projects, including technology landscapes, market assessments and new product development and adjacency strategies.
    • Project Mastery: Own projects from inception to closure. Craft compelling proposals, spearhead project execution with a small, dynamic team, and present the final deliverables to our clients, ensuring project profitability.
    • Networking & Strategy Development: Cultivate a rich network among business and scientific leaders in emerging technologies and among our diverse clientele. Play a strategic role in shaping the future direction of the CPG group alongside our leadership team.
    • Travel: Be ready to travel approximately 30% of the time to connect with clients and lead projects to success.

    Requirements:
    • A Master's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
    • 5-7 years of prior consulting experience in the CPG sector.
    • Exceptional team leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Proven excellence in time, project, and team management in a fast-paced setting.
    • A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and an adaptive mindset.
    • Fluency in English, with additional language skills (Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, or French) considered a plus.
