    About the role

    • As the Controller at Nok, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that support our growth objectives while ensuring strong internal controls and financial transparency.

    You are Responsible for:

    • Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
    • Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
    • Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
    • Developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and enhance efficiency across the organization.
    • Manage relationships with external partners, such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
    • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements that may impact the company.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles
    • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing internal controls in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QBO a plus.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
