    Description

    Overview

    This position is in charge of ensuring that casino guests have the best possible experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Six months of prior work experience required.
    • Experience in Gaming, Hospitality, or Customer service is preferred.
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation Gaming license.
    • Must hold a valid Driver's License.
    • Documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States is required.
    • Preference will be given to Osage, Native American, and Veteran applicants at Osage Casinos.
    • Applicants must be able to fulfill all essential job duties with or without accommodations.

    Responsibilities

    COMMUNICATION:

    • Stays informed about company updates by checking bulletin boards, digital signage, and newsletters.
    • Communicates effectively with supervisors and conveys suggestions for improvements.
    • Reports any unsafe behavior from guests promptly.

    DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:

    • Monitors e-gaming machines and assists with manual jackpots as needed.
    • Maintains gaming equipment according to procedures.
    • Ensures the casino floor is clean and orderly.
    • Prepares operational reports as necessary.
    • Completes assigned tasks and other duties as assigned.

    GUEST SERVICE:

    • Delivers outstanding service to guests, showing courtesy and respect at all times.
    • Collaborates effectively with colleagues and maintains a positive attitude.

    REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:

    • Builds good relationships with Company staff and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
    • Performs all duties in line with company values, Osage Nation objectives, and applicable laws and regulations.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficient in English language and able to read and understand reports and documents.
    • Capable of basic mathematical computations.
    • Maintains confidentiality of information.
    • Works well in a team and follows instructions.
    • Communicates effectively in oral and written form.
    • Uses basic MS Office tools.
    • Exercises good judgment and seeks guidance when needed.
    • Aware of legal implications and safety measures.
    • Responds to inquiries and issues professionally.
    • Can travel as required.
    • Maintains physical fitness for job requirements.
    • Stays updated with industry trends and networks professionally.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Requires standing, walking, sitting, and manual dexterity.
    • Capable of various physical movements while on duty.
    • Must have good auditory and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to lift and carry certain weights.
    • Specific visual abilities are necessary for the role.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Work takes place in a Casino environment with exposure to second-hand smoke.
    • Evening and weekend shifts may be expected.
    • Potential for extended and irregular work hours.
    • Moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
    • May be exposed to various risks related to work duties.
