    Description
    IGS Energy is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager who is equal parts skilled marketing expert and passionate team builder. In this role, the Sr.

    Manager will be responsible for developing and driving the delivery of agreed upon plans across IGS's product lines (B2B and B2C) through leadership of a small team of specialists and in collaboration with functional experts across marketing.

    The ideal candidate is a highly skilled marketer who is accustomed to working on highly matrixed teams, across many products/divisions, to align marketing towards a common goal.

    This individual is a builder who thrives providing a team with structure and approaches where none exist today.

    This individual will thrive as a business consultant on marketing to connect dots between the business strategy and the voice of the customer and will excel at helping to advance marketing's work to the next level in alignment with what each of IGS' product lines seeks to achieve.

    The role is located in Columbus, OH but can work remote within drivable distance to office.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Marketing Responsibilities

    Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    Develop, implement, and manage product-specific marketing plans across B2B and B2C products. Lead strategic planning for current and future marketing tactics, initiatives, and events. In collaboration with Marketing Operations and direct reports, create an integrated marketing calendar to manage and coordinate activities.

    Internal communications:

    Establish structure for and lead discussions on behalf of marketing with executive leaders across sales and product organizations to maintain alignment, agreement, and closed-loop feedback across the products and teams marketing supports.

    Own the mechanism to gather and disseminate feedback from business executives back to marketing team.

    Cross-team collaboration: Ensure consistent alignment with other functional execution teams within marketing (marketing ops, brand, creative, campaigns and web product), aligning on resource capacity, deadlines and overarching strategic goals of products.


    Customer insights & marketing:

    In partnership with other marketing leaders, establish and the process for gathering current Voice-of-the-Customer on behalf of the marketing team.

    Enable the systematic gathering and understanding of customer feedback in a way that is translated and applied back across the assets, campaigns and projects marketing owns/executes on behalf of IGS.

    Build a mechanism for customer marketing that is right sized for IGS Energy's maturity today. Establish a roadmap for future customer marketing growth.

    Sales materials & events:
    Deliver tactical sales material and event needs across IGS energy.

    Through your team of direct reports, apply best practices to creative and messaging briefs to ensure business alignment and customer voice are represented accurately through the work the team delivers.

    Team business acumen & customer needs education: Package and deliver educational content to marketing team on business strategy and the customer.

    Ensure functional groups across marketing are up-to-date, informed and knowledgeable across the products IGS sells.
