    Role Description

    Do you have experience in providing a steady flow of valid leads in the home service industry? This is a unique opportunity to play a major role in one of the most innovative and forward-thinking property management groups in the nation.

    They have a relentless focus on residential properties, and their goal is to establish long-term relationships with serious real estate investors who own multiple properties and are willing to provide well-maintained homes to the metropolitan Columbus, Ohio community.

    Summary of Role:

    As the Marketing Manager for RL Property Management you will be responsible for leading your own business within the business. They are looking for a high-performing individual with great technical skills in lead generation, brand strategy, building a referral partner program, and the home services space as a whole.

    This is a unique opportunity to be a trailblazer while being supported by a business with a proven track record and concept. This person reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for:

    • Lead Generation Strategy: Strategically identify and cultivate qualified leads within their service area. These are rental property owners who are interested in learning more about their services. Aim to double the monthly influx of qualified leads
    • Establish Brand Recognition: Ensure that RL Property Management becomes well-known in the local real estate community as a valuable resource and quality property management company. Especially among potential referral partners such as realtors, brokers, bankers, title company people etc.
    • Referral Partner Program: Design and execute a referral partner strategy/program to reward their referral partners and help them stay top-of-mind.
    • Community Building: Work with CEO/COO to create a strategy for a new community aimed at self-managing landlords (who may hire them eventually). Community could be made up of in-person events at their office, an exclusive online community such as Circle or Slack, and other exclusive content provided by RL to help self-managing landlords.
    • Study local market trends: Stay current on trends and changes in the Columbus RE market to create messaging for their existing and potential investors.
    • Content Strategy: Plan, oversee and execute all content production and posting (blogs, newsletter, social media accounts).
    • Paid Social Campaigns: Design and execute paid social campaigns (with or without contractors) and report on performance.
    • Marketing budget management: Work with CEO/COO to develop annual marketing budget and report on actual vs budget through the year.
    • Marketing Material: Handle misc. marketing requests such as brochures, designs, etc (with or without contractors).
    • Lead Revitalization: Work with the sales team to design campaigns for leads who have "gone dead".
    • Sales Operations Support: Assist with Sales Operations (making sure leads are going to the right places, salespeople have current collateral, etc.)
    • Website Management: Keep their website up to date by working with their website company.
    • Reporting: Design and implement a weekly/monthly marketing report. It should include the following and display these metrics visually and over time in a way that makes sense: Number of valid leads (and by source), cost per lead (and by source), closing rate (and by source), current customer LTV, CAC:LTV ratio, etc.

    You will be given the authority and budget necessary to make this happen, as it is paramount to the success of the company as whole.

    Requirements for Consideration

    • This is a remote role, but required quarterly trips to headquarters in Columbus, OH.
    • Experience in leading and innovating similar tactics in the home services industry.
    • College degree is strongly preferred.
    • Clean criminal history, background check required
    • Comfort level using modern tech solutions (Notion, Retently, Airtable, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
