- Analyze safety, production, & maintenance processes to gain margin improvement.
- Review OEM processes and make recommendations concerning requirements and standard work procedures.
- Monitor production and quality control systems, or other operational reports to detect process problems and trends.
- Mentor assigned personnel to promote efficiency and build leadership and team skills.
- Recommend process improvements in the work area to gain efficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with all team members and ensure miscommunications are minimized.
- Coordinate with other senior staff members on personnel, safety, finance, and purchasing issues, looking for ways to increase and enhance all functional areas.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the General Mill Manger.
- Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team.
- Ability to analyze data to recommend informed operational decisions.
- Ability to understand and learn methods to gain efficiency and margin improvement.
- Ability to understand how training can produce a gain efficiency and increase production levels.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- BS in an engineering discipline from an accredited University.
- Preferred degree in industrial and/ or mechanical engineer or related experience.
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
