Your tasks

  • You are responsible for conducting development-related risk analyses FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)
  • You coordinate, moderate and document FMEA and FTA workshops as part of new developments, in particular according to the requirements of functional safety (ISO26262)
  • You are responsible for reporting the status in the corresponding project committees
  • You are in charge of process optimization for FMEA and FTA methodology within MAN Truck & Bus SE as well as in cross-brand corporate working groups
  • You establish procedures for FMEA and FTA methodology in guidelines, work instructions and standard specifications

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in engineering or a comparable, solid technical education
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in implementing technical risk management methods in the automotive industry
  • You have practical experience in conducting FMEAs and FTAs
  • You possess strong communication, coordination and moderation skills
  • You are convincing with your strong customer orientation and solution-oriented approach
  • Solid knowledge of FMEA and FTA methodology
  • Operational experience with the tools APIS-IQ FMEA and Isograph Fault Tree as well as knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262)
