2nd shift premium $2.25 per hour

Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, overtime as required.

Team Coordinator


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Team Coordinator must ensure that all employees are abiding by company safety regulations, are adequately supplied with proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and are behaving in a manner that provides a safe work environment for themselves and all other employees.
  • Leads, motivates and mentors a Production Peer Team to achieve productivity, ontime delivery and continuous improvement objectives for the Team's Manufacturing Work Center.
  • Acts as the communication hub for the team, disseminating pertinent and timely information.
  • Works with the Manufacturing Operations Manager, Production Control and Scheduling to coordinate scheduling of Team Members and the Companies' Equipment and Process assets to fulfill weekly production schedules to completion schedules in the most efficient manner.
  • Works with Human Resources and Manufacturing Operations Manager to ensure Team Members are trained and up to date in required processes and tasks.
  • Maintains cross training matrix for Team Members and works with management to identify and addresses training and skill set gaps to meet production requirements.
  • Coordinates with Manufacturing Management Team, Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to ensure Preventative Maintenance Programs are adequate to maximize equipment and process uptime.
  • Actively leads Team in crossfunctional Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Active member of the Operations Manufacturing Manager's Leadership Team which drives attainment of Manufacturing objectives in areas of Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety and planning/execution of production schedules.
  • Promotes the values and cultures of Auburn Gear, LLC within the Team.
  • Works with Shift Coordinators to ensure the smooth transition and communication of production priorities and issues at shift change.
  • Assist Operations Management in weekly labor reporting process and coverage planning for vacation or absenteeism.
  • Assist Operations Management in the monitoring and documentation process in providing performance feedback to Team Members.
  • Leads Team in maintaining a clean, organized and safe work place in accordance with 6S protocol.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Team Member G2 work order and labor entries are entered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for ensuring Team Members are cost effective in use and care of tooling and gauges in the Team's Work Centers.
  • Supports and maintains pertinent Quality Management Systems within the Team.
  • Supports, adheres to and enforces Company Policies.
  • Works in the Team performing direct labor functions and/or setup on a daily basis, as time allows, maximizing the Team's achievement of performance and schedule objectives.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to quickly respond in leading changes in production schedules due to customer demands and manufacturing priorities.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, prefer one or two years of technical school education.
  • Previous supervisory, team leader or management experiences a plus.

MUST HAVE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE or QUALIFICATIONS:
