    Job Description

    The Senior Project Manager (Justice) provides the overall planning,coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure theymeet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule.

    May superviseoffice/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistantproject/construction managers, project/construction managers and otherassigned staff. This is an on-site position.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    The Senior Project Manager (Justice) is responsible for providing thefollowing services or for supervising the Project Management team members thatperform these services:Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for thecontract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables on countyjail or other detention/correctional construction projectsDevelops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults withOwner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for theprojectEnsures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply withconstruction/project requirementsObtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications,and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner,architects, engineers, and other project-related entitiesRepresents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetingsManages project controls, cost, and performance activities andprocedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeoutLeads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, andtracking of relevant information and statusesCoordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction managementstaff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entitiesEnsures project team adheres to safety requirements and specificallyhealthcare environment standards and protocols to maintain patient/publicsafety (ILSM, ICRA, MOP, etc.)



    Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the clientPerforms other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management,Architecture, or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 9 years of experience as a Project Manager and an additional 3years of experience as a Senior Project Manager supervising staff is requiredExperience leading a team on county jail, detention and/or correctionalconstruction projectsAdvanced knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation,project development, design-phase management, construction estimating,cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation,engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods arerequireThorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, andspecifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting,cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settingsare reProficiency with various document control systems and strong computer skillsand familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.

    Experience withproject-related systems such as Kahua, Prolog and Primavera are requiredExperience leading a team is requiredJustice experience required; specifically county jail experience preferredRegistration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferredCertified Construction Manager preferredOffered rate of compensation will be based on a variet of non-discriminatoryfactors, including education, qualifications, experience, andgeographic location.
