    Description

    Overview:

    The Program Manager position at ESO Consultants is pivotal for ensuring the successful delivery of all Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO) projects within the defined program portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with all divisions within the relevant IT department to ensure seamless program execution.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead and guide a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure consistent, high-quality project management discipline for all technology-related initiatives.

    Facilitate regular Program Reviews with the IT Leadership Team and Steering Committee to communicate project health and progress.

    Manage project delivery teams from initiation to closure phase to ensure consistent, high-quality project management.

    Develop, supervise, and assign resources to manage and control all PMO projects within the assigned program portfolio.

    Track program-wide and individual project costs associated with internal IT labor, hardware, software, and ongoing maintenance.

    Ensure adherence to the relevant IT Project Development Lifecycle framework for all PMO managed projects.

    Build Project Management expertise and competencies to meet evolving demands within the IT department.

    Assist the Director of PMO in defining the IT Project Portfolio and aligning programs to support the enterprise's direction.

    Work with IT Governance to estimate timeliness and resources needed to achieve program/project goals.

    Assist in the development and monitoring of the PMO units financial plan and costs.

    Identify project dependencies, issues, and risks, and develop mitigation and action plans.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Services, or related field.

    Certifications in project management and/or agile development preferred.

    Deep familiarity and experience with multiple development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM).

    Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, with at least four (4) years of progressive IT managerial experience.

    Proven leadership skills with effective communication and team-building abilities.

    Demonstrated ability in implementing project management processes and methodologies.

    Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain work relationships.

    Advanced decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    Agility to adapt to shifting business needs and demands.
