Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is managing the field research operations for the northern Missouri soybean breeding program. This position is responsible for managing all field experiments at 6 locations across Missouri, as well as participating in planting, harvesting, collecting field data, and maintaining our fields and research equipment in proper working order. This position will also help in seed lab activities including preparing seed for planting.
Shift
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required and Master of Science Degree is preferred. Major: B.S. in Plant Science, Agronomy, Biology or equivalent or work experience of 1 year with a Bachelor's degree.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $50,367 - $79,354 annually.
Grade: GGS-9E
