    First International Bank and Trust is a family-owned community bank and one of Prairie Business Magazine's 50 best places to work for 10 years running. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven background in developing commercial and industrial loans. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, assessing their financial needs, and structuring tailored loan solutions.

    Branch location for this position: 2231 E Camelback Rd. Suite 107.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Examines, evaluates and recommends/authorizes approval of customer applications for commercial credit loans by obtaining required information/documentation.
    • Reviews and analyzes title report or survey to determine issues and any present or potential risk.
    • Negotiates contracts in a way that is mutually beneficial for FIBT and the customer.
    • Ensures customer understands conditions and terms of account.
    • Reviews delinquent account records to determine appropriate action.
    • Demonstrates a desire to successfully serve the customers' needs while creating value for the customer and FIBT.
    • Compiles appropriate documentation to ensure that FIBT is properly protected.
    • Deep understanding of market conditions for loans (interest rates, advance rates, financial covenants and reporting).
    • Maintain an active list of potential new customers as well as a pipeline of new business activity.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
    • Accounting or economic background is preferred.
    • Proven experience in commercial lending with a focus on relationship building.
    • Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
