Job Title: Controls Project Manager

Location: Bend, OR

Job Summary:

Our dynamic team in Bend, OR, is looking for an experienced Controls Project Manager to spearhead our building automation and controls projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project management within the building automation sector, capable of delivering projects that meet both client expectations and company standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of building automation and controls projects, from inception to completion.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are aligned with project delivery.
Lead and inspire project teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
Adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements for all projects.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and prepare detailed reports on project status.
Document all project activities meticulously for record-keeping and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the building automation or controls industry.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting controls, and security systems integration.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and direct diverse teams.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
Proficient in financial management, with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively negotiate and manage client relationships.
Local to Bend, OR, or willing to relocate, with a stable work history and a commitment to long-term career development in the area.
