As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) the job responsibilities include spearheading the creation of a new group dedicated to API governance. This involves collecting, cataloging, and ranking all APIs used to provide clear direction on their status, management platform, and adherence to governance rules. The BSA will generate metric reports to assess compliance, collaborating with API application owners to develop strategies for achieving compliance standards. Additionally, the role entails monthly reporting to upper management, offering a comprehensive overview of the client's API landscape to ensure awareness and informed decision-making at the highest levels.

Must Have Skills:

Ability to establish a central repository to provide API inventory - Classification, Ownership, Rating

Knowledge of API platforms

Apigee

DataPower

Use of SharePoint, Microsoft Office, etc.

Flex Skills:

Knowledge of confluence

Knowledge of other API management products

Apache
