    Lead Frontend Engineer (remote) at Pearson in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description We're a market leader in producing digital learning material for colleges and universities in the US and across other major markets.

    Our high-quality digital content provides enriching experiences for more than 10 million students every year. Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ReactJS, GraphQL, and AWS, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams across multiple geographies.

    This role will be instrumental in shaping the front-end architecture, driving innovation, and leading a team of engineers based in the US and Sri Lanka, as well as contractors.


    Role Responsibilities + Serve as the Technical Leader:
    overseeing the architecture, design, and implement scalable frontend solutions using ReactJS, GraphQL, and AWS.

    + You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-time engineers and contractors across the US and Sri Lanka.

    + You will ensure the delivery of high-quality code through code reviews, automated tests, and performance tuning. + You will drive innovation and creative problem-solving approaches to improve product quality and user experience. + You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in front-end development.

    + Expertise in ReactJS + Strong experience with GraphQL + Proficiency in AWS services like S3, Lambda, and EC2 + Proven experience in leading engineering teams, including remote and offshore members.

    + Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative approach to design and architecture + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a full-time position. The candidate can be based anywhere in the US and must be willing to coordinate across time zones.

    Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.

    As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
    The minimum full-time salary range is between $130,000 - $150,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.
