    Business Development Sales Executive

    We tackle and solve challenging and sensitive problems for our clients and we are looking for a Business Development Executive to help spread the news and message about our new channels and new potential clients.


    Position Overview:


    This individual will generate new revenue for us by researching, identifying, qualifying, bidding, and closing business from high revenue and strategic marketing prospects.

    Accountable for pursuing key channels identified by our company; Destination, Education, Public Sector, Corporate, Non-Profit, and Real Estate. Additionally, the Business Development Executive is accountable for identifying and validating new markets and business channels.

    Manage our Prospect Pipeline process including handing off key opportunities to the Account Management team for proposal and work with Account Management to successfully secure new business potential.

    Provide field research and be knowledgeable and connected to the marketplace to successfully introduce, follow up with, and acquire new customers for us.


    Essential Job Functions:


    Proactively research, and cultivate new leads and markets for us using available electronic means, marketing and sales tools, and traveling in person to networking events and prospect facilities to build a new sales pipeline.

    Conducts exploratory meetings to gauge client interest and move client along the sales process to discovery.
    Target outreach- of 100 per week, with 10 Exploratory or inquiry calls and 2 Discovery Meetings

    Effectively utilize in person prospect visits, phone, email, events, and outbound marketing campaigns for direct prospect and new customer communication.

    Establish and maintain relationships and follow up communication throughout the entire Proverb Process including closing sale with a focus on getting new potential clients to a proposal.

    Maintain contact and stay informed with all onboarded customers and complete follow up visits at least once annually. Expectation is that this will require 5% of allocated time.
    Present our story and the company image positively to all Prospects and Existing Customers.
    Maintain annual expense budget as assigned by the company and submit weekly expense reports.


    Qualification/ Requirements:
    Aptitude and passion for sales
    Prospecting and New Business Acquisition Mindset
    Strong Research and Internet/Social Media Aptitude
    Excellent verbal/written communication skills
    Superior listening skills and ability to engage prospects by phone
    Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Must be organized and detail-oriented
    Act with integrity. Demonstrate sound business and professional ethics. Show consistency of principles, values and behaviors
    Self-motivated; ability to work independently to achieve goals is essential
