Overview
The Manager leads most engagements with supervision from a Sr. Manager or Partner. The Manager is tasked with reviewing staff work and providing outstanding client service to our Business clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Maintaining multiple client relationships and providing consulting and accounting services in a proactive manner
+ Develops and strengthens long-term relationships with senior client management and peer client levels.
+ Preparing and analyzing accounting records and financial statements
+ Preparing/reviewing bank reconciliations and other account analysis
+ Helping clients with closing the books and creating adjusting journal entries
+ Assisting clients in getting their books and records in good financial order
+ Preparing timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting workpapers
+ Assisting the business with understanding and implementing internal controls and key business management policies
+ Structures work teams to successfully meet client expectations and help develop strong client partnerships.
+ Becoming a Trusted Business Advisor to your clients
Knowledge and Skills:
+ QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience, ProAdvisor a plus
+ Experience with QuickBooks project consulting, training and implementations
+ Experience in compilations and reviews
+ Experience in preparing and analyzing accounting records and financial statements
+ Ability to work with multiple clients, staff and managers
+ Prior managerial experience required
Education and Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in accounting or associates degree with appropriate experience
+ A level of technical competence as demonstrated through either: CPA, other professional credentials (i.e. CMA, EA, etc.), advanced degrees (Masters or PhD), and/or significant relevant experience is required
+ 4+ years accounting experience, public accounting experience desired
+ Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.
+ Demonstrated ability and presence as a role model for other staff and professionals ,including as a result of professional and technical reputation
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent command of excel and word
+ Ability to multi-task and meet or exceed deadline
+ Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
