    Description

    Digital & Print Financial Graphic Designer

    We are growing our design team for internal and client needs. Only financial service industry candidates will be considered. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the internal team and with client teams to fully understand their likes, dislikes and needs.
    • Develop top-of-the-line strategies for what print/digital creations will propel their business.
    • Create compelling designs for PDF, post card, table tent, website, one-page financial services pitch documents, financial presentations, pitch decks and trade show booths.
    • The best designs chosen by clients will work on client projects. Each client gets to choose from three different designers and pick the one that works best for them. The designer must therefore be able to professionally manage rejection of their product.

    Qualifications

    • We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience
    • We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team-oriented , and can execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement
    • 6+ years' experience in marketing and/or design with a minimum of recent experience at a financial services firm
    • Bachelor's degree in digital production, design or related field
    • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, and Premier Pro), Canva, Prezi, Figma and Loom
    • Solid understanding of digital production, including using style sheets, branding, template creation, and troubleshooting technical issues in graphic files
    • Working knowledge of video editing and best practices for social media is preferred, not required
    • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing professionalism
    • Must be 100% dependable: when a project work time is set, everyone involved must without exception be on time and ready
