    As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for from the moment they step through our doors.


    Job Description:
    We are seeking a friendly and professional Host / Events Coordinator to join our team at ETR.

    As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and providing outstanding customer service.

    You will also collaborate with management in securing reservations and events bookings. Your warm demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.


    Responsibilities:
    Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.
    Manage the waitlist during peak hours, accurately estimating wait times and effectively communicating with guests.
    Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable and well-informed about any specials or promotions.
    Answer incoming emails and assist guests with inquiries or reservations. Assist guests ordering food for takeout.
    Collaborate with the serving staff to maintain an organized seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
    Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the host stand, arranging menus, and tidying up the entryway.


    Requirements:
    Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
    Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
    Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
    Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
